Shouting it from the rooftops would not be loud enough.... PRELIMINARY RESULTS ARE NORMAL!!! The doctor couldn't tell Chris fast enough as he saw him pass by & Chris couldn't run in the room any faster! We don't know much beyond that at this point, we are waiting for our "conference" with Ruthie Lou's team, 8 people in all...I counted them! But the transport team said she did great and she is becoming more and more alert as she is being weaned off her meds. Her facial expressions are hilarious as dad changes her diapers, she nearly hits the nurses as they mess with her tubes and she sucks her "oral care" sponge like crazy as we give her my milk. What a tough girl, what a fighter! She is quite saucy already and we love it! We will keep you posted as we are told the next steps but I know many of you have been patiently waiting for an update! Thank you does not sum up or describe our appreciation for your love, support, strength and prayers of good wishes. While we have done everything we can to stay strong and focused for our little angel, you have held her and us up in moments that we have needed you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We love you so much and are so grateful to be surrounded by such amazing, supportive and positive family and friends. Little miss Ruthie Lou is so blessed!
